Additional Information: The Wing Kei Walkathon is an event worth the celebration. It is a time of gathering, a time of sharing and a time to show your support for the seniors in Calgary. This annual event includes a scenic walk in the downtown core, games/display booths and lunch. All participants will be gathered in the morning to begin the scenic walk, which usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. After the walk, participants will head back to the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre to enjoy lunch and the various game booths that we will have available. This year, we are targeting 1500 participants and aiming for a fundraising goal of $240,000. Net proceeds will go towards Wing Kei Capital Campaign. As a member of our extended family of care, we invite you, your families and friends to join us for the walkathon. A walk towards empowerment, a walk towards fulfillment, a walk towards a better life for our seniors.
